I must say that I've always avoided going to a mechanic because I've heard so many stories about people being sold services that they don't need or being blatantly lied to about things that were wrong with their vehicles that weren't. Thankfully, the owner and operator of Lighthouse, Rylan, is a mechanic of a different breed. Him and his technicians thoroughly diagnosed my 2007 Subaru Outback to discover all problems, and when they were done, there was no pressure to perform all the maintenance right then and there. Rylan discussed the options and started with the highest priority to the lowest, and was totally willing to work with what would work for my budget. I ended up having them replace my brakes and flushing my transmission, and when they were taking it for a test drive to do a quality check, they noticed a vibration that wasn't caught in the original diagnosis that was being caused by a bent muffler rubbing against the drive shaft. They quickly put it back on the lift and fixed that issue too. I am highly impressed with the quality of work that was done, and I'll be using Lighthouse Automotive for all my future mechanical needs because Rylan makes you feel like a person, and not just a customer whose sole purpose is to give him as much money as possible. Fantastic service! Rylan is obviously completely committed to doing a great job and providing good service. He is very passionate about his business and takes great pride in the work they do. Being a woman you can at times be taken advantage of, which from what Rylan found in my car has been the case for me for almost 2 years. I took it to whatever shop was referred to me or happened to be the closest/most convenient. He took the time to physically show me what exactly was wrong with the vehicle while using various tools and gizmos they have in the shop which was really great! They were very attentive to my situation and made me feel confident in what they were doing. Not to mention all of the work and labor is covered with 2 year/24000 mile warranty! The car was done in great time although I know they had a lot on the docket. I will be bringing my car back and would recommend the shop to anyone.

Over the years, I have brought my vehicles to different local mechanics around town, but have always been less than satisfied with the work. Recently, I was having an issue with my car and decided to bring it to Lighthouse. Not only did Rylan greet me with a smile, a handshake, and an introduction, but he was up front and honest with me every step of the way. He also discovered some missing bolts within the engine from one of the previous jobs I had done at another shop, which was causing my problem. Again, he was up front with me and showed me on my car exactly what he was talking about and got it repaired right away. I trust Rylan and his mechanics to take care of my vehicles from now on. They have a customer for life with me. Awesome shop!

I'm new to Colorado Springs and needed a mechanic, I search Google and read reviews. Thats how I found Lighthouse Automotive, good reviews!! I was not disappointed!! I met Rylan and I explained the problem, he talk about possible problems and suggested a diagnosis to pin point the problem....no guess work!! I left my explorer with them, he called the next day to explain what their diagnosis and estimate was. Problem turned out not to be as bad as it could of been and even at 2:00 in the afternoon said they would finish the job by the end of the day, which they did. I am very happy with their service and friendliness and would recommend them to everyone! I will return in the future!! Thanks!

They were a great help when my wife had an accident near Colorado Springs. The van ended up being totaled, but he did some body work on my pickup. He did a great job and took good care of us.

This shop was willing to work with us within our budget. They brought their price down on replacing our brake lines and gave us a deal. They were also great at explaining the process and making sure we understood the repairs and felt comfortable with the price.

One of the best shops I have ever been to. That being said, my car was towed there due to a broken CV Axle. They were quick to diagnose the problem and even save me a substantial amount of money on repairs. I got calls every step of the way, so I never felt left out of the loop on the repair. Lighthouse understands how much your vehicle means to you, and it shows every step of the way. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who truly loves their car.
