Chevrolet Truck Owner Gets Exhaust System Repairs at LightHouse Automotive

July 17, 2019

Jon drives a Chevy truck and has recently been dealing with some exhaust system issues. He was traveling through Dallas, where he had to get some emergency repairs made. However, he experienced several complications during his drive home to Colorado Springs. Thankfully, Jon knew he could trust the team at LightHouse Automotive to make it right.

"This shop is 100% all legit," Jon says. "I took my truck to a shop in Dallas and got the catalytic converter replaced. I got about two hours outside of Dallas and my check engine light came on. I pulled into the nearest Chevrolet dealer and they made some adjustments. 10 minutes later back on the road all I could hear was an exhaust leak. I made it back to Colorado Springs and brought my truck to LightHouse."

Exhaust leaks and other exhaust system problems are something that any vehicle owner needs to take seriously. When there are exhaust and emissions problems, it can greatly affect the performance of the vehicle. Gas mileage will suffer and harmful exhaust leaking back into the engine can do a great deal of damage. Then, there are the health risks of driving with carbon monoxide potentially leaking into the passenger cabin.

At the first sign of any exhaust leak or problems with the muffler, catalytic converter or exhaust pipes, you will want to get your vehicle checked out by an expert auto repair shop like Colorado Springs' own LightHouse Automotive .

"They put it on the lift and did a smog test, finding multiple leaks on all the parts that the Chevrolet dealer 'fixed,'" Jon adds. "They had me all done and back on the road in about two hours. They fixed what two mechanics could not do right the first time. I test drove the truck and everything was perfect. Thank you LightHouse for being straight with me and doing it right."

Thank you, Jon, for putting your trust in LightHouse Automotive when other shops let you down. We're glad we were able to identify the sources of the problems and get things properly repaired in your truck's exhaust system.
